Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Transportation Consultant to analyze transportation networks, drive cost savings, and optimize service levels across distribution centers, warehouses, and customers.

The role partners with operations, finance, customer service, and 3PLs to implement data-driven improvements. Strong analytics, project management, and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in logistics, supply chain, business admin or related field.
• PMP and Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certifications are preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain with focus on fleet or carrier management.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics of transportation network to identify cost savings and performance gains.
• Lead transportation projects from concept to completion with scope, timelines and budgets.
• Act as liaison between internal teams and 3PL carriers to align strategies.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for fleet performance and report findings to leadership.
• Manage budgets and ensure projects stay on time and within financial parameters.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and network optimization.
• Proactively resolve transportation challenges using data-driven problem solving.
