Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to support data analysis, planning, optimization, and execution of transportation operations across the supply chain. You will optimize networks, drive cost savings, and improve service while collaborating with Operations, Finance, and 3PL providers.

The role emphasizes data-driven recommendations, KPI reporting, and stakeholder influence. Strong analytical skills, project management experience, and BI tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certifications preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in project management with complex timelines and budgets.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and derive insights.
• Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel expected: 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation network data to identify cost reductions and service improvements.
• Lead transportation-related projects from conception to completion within budget and timelines.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams and 3PL carriers on strategies and execution.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to assess fleet performance and trends.
• Manage budgets and timelines for projects.
• Drive process standardization and improvement across transportation operations.
• Identify and resolve transportation challenges using data-driven approaches.
