Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to support data analysis, planning, optimization, and execution of transportation operations across the supply chain. This role focuses on moving materials efficiently between distribution centers, warehouses, and end customers while driving service, cost, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration preferred
• 4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
• Proficiency with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI

Responsibilities

• Transportation Network Data Analytics and Reporting: analyze network data to identify cost reductions and service improvements, develop dashboards and reports using TMS and BI tools
• Operational Improvement Project Management: lead transportation projects from conception to completion within scope, time, and budget
• Stakeholder Management: liaise between internal teams and external 3PL carriers to align strategies
• Data Analysis & KPI Reporting: develop and monitor KPIs, present insights to leadership
• Budget & Timeline Management: manage project budgets and timelines
• Process Optimization: standardize and improve transportation processes
• Problem Solving: address transportation challenges with data-driven solutions
