Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to oversee day-to-day operational stability and standardization of transportation for a portfolio of facilities across the network. You will act as the primary operational POC, coordinating with planners, DC leadership, and 3PLs to maintain delivery performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI and TMS.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational POC for 1–5 facilities and resolve day-to-day transportation challenges.
• Foster collaboration with carrier/3PL partners to manage service delivery and exceptions.
• Partner with Transportation Planners to reinforce SOPs and route planning.
• Drive SOP maintenance and ASO process governance across sites.
• Proactively coordinate contingency plans for weather, disruptions, and peak periods.
• Use TMS, Tableau and Power BI to monitor KPIs and provide data-backed insights to leadership.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and eliminate waste in the territory.
• Coordinate with DC operations, customer service, planning, and external providers for clear communication.
