Cardinal Health seeks a Transportation Consultant to oversee day-to-day operational stability and standardization of transportation operations across its distribution network. You will be the primary operational POC for your territory, partnering with planners, DC leadership, and 3PLs to sustain delivery performance and process compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or related field preferred.
• Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• 4+ years in transportation/logistics/supply chain management.
• Experience with 3PL/carrier operations and regional networks.
• Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary operational POC for FDC transportation operations within 1–5 facilities.
• Collaborate with carriers and 3PL partners to manage service delivery and resolve exceptions.
• Coordinate with Transportation Planners to reinforce SOPs and routing expectations.
• Drive governance and SOP maintenance across sites, including ASO processes.
• Anticipate and coordinate contingency plans for weather, outages, and peak periods.
• Use TMS and BI tools to monitor KPIs and provide data-driven feedback to leadership.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and waste elimination.
• Communicate across distribution, customer service, planning, and external providers.
