Job summary

Landstar System is seeking a Corporate Account Executive to drive accelerated account growth within a defined geographic area. Remote/Work from Home arrangement, leveraging Landstar’s portfolio of services, modes and technology to win and grow accounts.

You will manage revenue with existing growth accounts, identify new customers, and build strong relationships with key decision makers while collaborating with growth agents and field sales to expand business. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years transportation-related sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand contract language.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow revenue with existing growth accounts in your territory.
• Identify and deliver new customers consistent with company plans.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
• Collaborate with growth agents and field sales to identify needs and opportunities.
• Support transition of accounts to field or other Corporate Sales Executives.
• Become subject matter expert for Landstar services and technology.
• Network at industry events and associations within territory.
• Provide sales leadership to agents and Landstar field organization.
• Utilize resources to prospect, penetrate and close new business.
• Manage Salesforce and reporting in accordance with guidelines.
• Develop a planned sales cycle for all key accounts.
