WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer for our Lake Oswego, OR office with hybrid or remote options from select locations.

You will lead high‑voltage transmission projects, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. The role emphasizes project leadership, client interaction, and staff mentorship, with opportunities to engage in proposal development and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and strong academic foundation in power delivery or related field.
• 5-7 years of post-education experience in transmission projects and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience designing/managing transmission projects and familiarity with NESC, RUS, GO-95.
• Strong command of English with good written and oral communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and standard engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for planning, design and delivery of high-voltage transmission line projects up to 765kV.
• Lead initial project execution layouts, maintain schedules, and coordinate meetings.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure transparent progress and reporting.
• Ensure QA/QC processes are followed and safety policies are upheld.
• Mentor staff and participate in industry conferences for knowledge transfer.
• Travel to client sites or facilities as needed.
