SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer II, Transmission for a fully remote role serving nationwide solar, storage, and interconnection projects. You will own preliminary line design from kickoff through 10% design, aligning scope, route, and technical assumptions with internal and external teams.

The role requires 3+ years in transmission line design, proficiency with PLS tools, and travel up to 10%. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or civil engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of transmission line design or related power engineering experience.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or GIS.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, IEEE and utility interconnection standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work remotely in the U.S.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Own the preliminary transmission line design and technical ownership for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with estimating, BD, and clients to align scope, schedule, and risks.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with EORs, consultants, and internal teams.
• Prepare design scope, route assumptions, and handoff to Preconstruction.
• Review drawings, documents, and compliance with NESC/IEEE and owner requirements.
• Support LNTP negotiations and client meetings to clarify requirements.
