Job summary

Lumata Health is seeking a Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for Care Coaches. You will manage onboarding, coaching, and ongoing support to ensure staff are prepared to meet patient care demands and Lumata's mission of preventing blindness.

This is a remote-first role with HIPAA-compliant requirements. You will monitor quality and productivity, provide ongoing feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor training and ensure

Qualifications

• Healthcare licensure or certification (Ophthalmology experience preferred: COA, COT, COMT)
• 1–3 years Preferred experience in care management, case management, or as a trainer/super-user
• Proficiency in working with multiple software platforms
• Experience with CRM or omni-channel service platforms preferred
• Basic knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and related compliance/billing requirements
• Strong data analysis, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training content aligned with Lumata's standards and mission
• Identify and address training needs within Clinical Operations
• Resolve training-related issues and adapt programs as necessary
• Maintain clear communication with leadership and teams
• Collaborate with teams to tailor training programs
• Coordinate onboarding and training schedules
• Track and report on new hire performance metrics
• Provide 1:1 coaching and support to team members
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant remote work environment
