Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver training for Customer Service Representatives supporting FEHB/PSHB programs. You will work with SMEs to create curricula and assessments, and facilitate instructor-led virtual sessions for remote, nationwide learners.

The role emphasizes ensuring accurate, compliant handling of PII/PHI, and maintaining up-to-date training resources while measuring effectiveness and coaching learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Experience developing simulations, scenarios, assessments and knowledge checks.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline.
• Experience delivering training to remote learners and handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials using adult learning techniques.
• Develop scenarios and training environment data to mirror production tools.
• Perform needs analysis with partners and SMEs to design deliverables.
• Develop assessment tools to measure learner competencies and quality standards.
• Teach instructional programs and organize materials for presentation.
• Develop and evaluate curriculum effectiveness and incorporate results.
• Review and modify curriculums and recommend changes to policies.
• Produce training resources and maintain the training library.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Communicate on complex or sensitive issues and draft responses as needed.
• Support management with other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in relevant field

3+ years of related professional experience

Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center

Experience facilitating remote training

Experience with LMS and eLearning tools

Ability to pass a federal background check
