Job summary

Maximus seeks a Training Specialist to design and deliver training for Customer Service Representatives supporting FEHB/PSHB programs. This remote, temporary role focuses on developing curriculum, simulations, and assessments, with a strong emphasis on adult learning techniques and QA standards.

You will work with SMEs to tailor content for federal program contexts, ensure learner progress through coaching, and maintain compliance with PII/PHI handling policies while supporting remote learners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service.
• Experience developing simulations, scenarios, assessments and knowledge checks.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools (Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline).
• Experience delivering training to remote or geographically dispersed learners.
• Experience handling PII, PHI, or other sensitive information in federal/regulatory programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials using adult learning techniques.
• Develop scenarios and update training environment data to mirror production tools.
• Collaborate with partners/SMEs for needs analysis and design deliverables.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative assessment tools to measure learner competencies.
• Deliver instructor-led virtual new-hire training and facilitate engaging sessions.
• Monitor learner progress and provide coaching and feedback; administer assessments.
• Ensure training content adheres to safety standards and aligns with organizational quality.
