Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver training for Customer Service Representatives supporting FEHB and PSHB programs. You will collaborate with instructional design, knowledge management, and operations to build materials, run virtual new-hire sessions, and monitor learner progress.

You will develop assessments, simulations, and job aids, coach learners, and ensure content aligns with regulatory requirements while safeguarding PII/PHI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Experience facilitating systems, processes, policies, and customer service training.
• Experience developing and delivering simulations, scenarios, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Experience coaching learners and supporting remediation or skill development.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline.
• Experience delivering training to remote or geographically dispersed learners.
• Experience supporting federal or highly regulated programs, including handling PII, PHI, or other sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials using proven adult learning techniques.
• Develop training scenarios and update training environment data resources to mimic production tools.
• Work with partners and SMEs to analyze needs and design deliverables meeting learner and quality standards.
• Develop assessment tools to measure learner competencies and quality.
• Teach instructional programs and organize materials for delivery.
• Develop assessments to measure curriculum effectiveness and integrate results into courses.
• Review and modify curriculums and suggest policy/procedure changes as needed.
• Create training resources and maintain the training environment and library.
• Adhere to safety standards and handle confidential information.
