Stanley Black & Decker Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking a Trades Specialist to join our Commercial Construction field sales team as a field-based employee in your assigned territory.

You’ll drive top-line sales and build key relationships with end-user partners for DEWALT, STANLEY, and other brands. You’ll mentor local market teams on end-user development, coordinate with Channel Marketing, and use Salesforce CRM to track opportunities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management/Marketing or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 50% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals & objectives through selling DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers.
• Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners through product and services solutions and management of CORE and other user contracts and programs.
• Teach and mentor the local market team on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and use Salesforce.com as a CRM and Planning tool; communicate successes and failures to develop a streamlined process.
