Job summary

Proton Technologies, Inc., an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, seeks a remote Systems Administrator to handle escalated troubleshooting and administration for clients. The role involves mentoring onsite and help desk staff, owning critical issues, and coordinating with multiple departments.

Requirements include 2+ years in Tier II or SysAdmin, Windows AD expertise, and strong TCP/IP/networking skills. Familiarity with Entra, Intune, and Google Workspace is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Tier II or System Administrator role.
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Windows Active Directory domains required.
• Experience with printer/network/scanner troubleshooting and wireless troubleshooting.
• Proficient with TCP/IP protocols and related hardware (switching, VLANs, firewalls, routers, WAN/LAN, wireless, VoIP).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra, Intune, and Google Workspace management, troubleshooting, and policy creation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues with customer equipment including workstations, laptops, mobile devices, VoIP phones, switches, routers, firewalls, and servers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with supported client applications and related services.
• Act as owner of critical client issues and outages, coordinating communication and troubleshooting across departments.
• Follow procedures, document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in ticketing systems.
