Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases end-to-end. You will decide between internal technicians or third-party support, solving complex vehicle issues and improving uptime customer experience.

Role requires strong maintenance knowledge, diagnostic skills, and the ability to train Tier 1 staff. Evening/weekend availability and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 5+ years in Ryder shop operations preferred.
• 2+ years in Ryder customer service exposure preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation maintenance required.
• 2+ years in technical diagnostic and customer resolution exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot and remedy roadside breakdowns with full autonomy.
• Follow up, escalate, and coordinate with service providers with leadership.
• Share updated technical knowledge to the maintenance team and training.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center team and provide status updates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
