Job summary

New Charter Technologies, LLC is seeking a Tier 1 Service Desk Engineer to join a client-focused team. This remote role supports desktops, MFA, email security, and a variety of MSP tools while maintaining accurate documentation and timely ticket handling.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of service desk experience, familiarity with ConnectWise PSA, IT Glue, and AD ecosystems, and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in IT support.
• Experience supporting end users in service desk or help desk environments.
• Experience with MSP tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 1 technical support via remote channels.
• Resolve printer issues, password resets, MFA, and antivirus alerts.
• Document issues and resolutions in IT Glue and ticket systems.
• Support client-specific applications and assist with new user setups.
• Communicate clearly with customers and collaborate with team members.
• Attend meetings and continuously improve technical skills.
• Manage ticket resolution, follow-ups, and proactive reviews.
