Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking aRemote Collections Specialist to work from home in the United States. Responsibilities include negotiating resolutions on delinquent accounts, setting up payment plans, and locating borrowers using skip-tracing tools.

You’ll operate in a performance-driven environment while ensuring regulatory compliance. Requirements include at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a professional remote

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a high-volume collections environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, strong remote-work setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements based on borrowers’ finances.
• Use skip-tracing and investigative techniques to locate borrowers/assets.
• Prioritize accounts and maximize recovery opportunities.
• Meet or exceed individual and department performance goals.
• Maintain accurate, detailed account documentation.
• Provide professional, respectful interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local collection laws and policies.
