Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Collections Specialists to join a 100% remote nationwide team. The role emphasizes negotiation, skip-tracing, and compliant collections, with performance-driven compensation.

Applicants must have at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong communication, and the ability to work independently from a home office. Eligible states listed, benefits include insurance, 401k, and DTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-minimized remote workspace.
• Reliable internet connectivity sufficient to perform job responsibilities.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
