Qualifications

• 2+ years in third-party debt collection
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Proven ability to manage collections and arrange settlements
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while meeting team goals
• Professionalism and reliability in a regulated field
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to maintain a confidential home workspace with reliable internet
• Available during scheduled hours
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements based on borrower's finances
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets
• Manage assigned accounts and prioritize collection activities for recovery
• Aim to meet personal and departmental performance goals
• Maintain accurate account documentation
• Maintain professional, respectful customer interactions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies
• Communicate with management and team while working remotely
