Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced remote Collections Specialists to join our nationwide team. You will manage inbound/outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and ensure regulatory compliance while working from a home office.

We value rapport, results, and independence, with performance-based compensation and full benefits. Requirements include at least 2 years of third-party debt collection, strong negotiation, and the ability to work independently within approved states.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience managing collection accounts and negotiating settlements.
• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Well-organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while meeting team goals.
• Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial situations.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize activities to maximize recoveries.
• Meet individual and department performance goals.
• Maintain accurate account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while handling difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain communication with management and teammates while working remotely.
