Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Remote Collections Specialists to join a nationwide team. The role focuses on negotiating resolutions, setting payment plans, and maintaining compliant, professional interactions with borrowers from a home workspace.

Candidates need at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, superb negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting performance goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

• Knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain consistent communication with management while working remotely.
