Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Remote Collections Specialists to join a nationwide team from a home-based setup. Role focuses on negotiating resolutions, arranging settlements, and maintaining compliant, professional borrower interactions.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of third-party debt collection experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
