Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Remote Collections Specialists to join our nationwide team. You will manage inbound and outbound calls, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure compliance with collection laws while working from home.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a performance-driven environment. Eligible states include New Jersey and others.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Must reside in an LCS-approved state and be able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Provide professional, respectful customer interactions during difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
• Maintain communication with management and teammates while working remotely.
