Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation skills, and bilingual English/Spanish capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets for recovery.
• Prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation while meeting performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local collection laws and company policies.
