Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is expanding its remote collections team, seeking experienced third-party collections professionals to work from home. You'll negotiate resolutions, build rapport with borrowers, and maintain compliance with applicable laws.

The role is 100% remote with a Monday–Friday schedule between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, offering commission and full benefits. Eligible states are listed; you must reside in an approved state and have reliable internet and a private remote

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions during difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain communication with management and team while working remotely.
