Job summary

Talkiatry is a virtual mental health practice seeking independently licensed therapists to join a fully remote outpatient team. This role offers predictable W-2 compensation with full benefits and a defined caseload supported by our scheduling, billing, intake, credentialing and licensing teams.

You’ll make independent treatment decisions within evidence‑based guidelines, with flexible scheduling inside a structured model.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or equivalent).
• Active, unrestricted license (multi-state licensing support available).
• Two or more independent and active state licenses (except CA, NY and MA).
• Comfort managing a consistent outpatient caseload.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and independent decision-making.
• Comfort practicing in a fast-paced but sustainable outpatient environment.
• Experience from outpatient, community mental health, hospital, IOP, or other structured settings (highly desirable).
• Experience with structured modalities (CBT, ACT, MI, DBT-informed care).
• Not seeking supervision toward licensure or building a fully self-directed 1099/private practice.

Responsibilities

• 100% remote, outpatient therapy.
• Lower to moderate acuity populations.
• 60-minute intakes and follow-ups.
• Consistent outpatient caseload with defined goals.
• In-house referral network to/from psychiatrists; full operational support.
