Job summary

Talkiatry is a virtual mental health practice designed to support clinicians with high-quality outpatient care delivered remotely. This role is for independently licensed therapists who want predictable W-2 compensation, full benefits, and minimal administrative burden in a fully remote environment.

The position focuses on 100% remote outpatient therapy for lower to moderate acuity populations with standard 60-minute sessions.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or equivalent)
• Active, unrestricted license (multi-state licensing support available)
• Two or more independent and active state licenses (except for CA, NY and MA)
• Comfort managing a consistent outpatient caseload
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and independent decision-making
• Comfort practicing in a fast-paced but sustainable outpatient environment
• (Highly desired) Experience from outpatient, community mental health, hospital, IOP, or other structured clinical settings
• (Highly desired) Experience with structured, skills-based modalities (ex. CBT, ACT, MI, DBT-informed care)
• Not designed for supervision toward licensure or building a private practice; part of a team

Responsibilities

• 100% remote, outpatient therapy
• Lower to moderate acuity populations (anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD)
• Standard 60-minute sessions (intakes and follow-ups)
• Maintain a consistent outpatient caseload with defined goals
• No inpatient, IOP/PHP, or crisis-call responsibilities
• In-house referral network to/from psychiatrists
• Full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, credentialing, and licensing
• Independent treatment decision-making with clinical leadership available for consultation
