Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years outside sales with track record selling to retail.
• Experience with account management.
• Strong presentation and selling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Self-starter with organizational and planning skills.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.
• Pet industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing accounts in the territory.
• Expand sku placement, shelf presence and off shelf displays.
• Increase recommendations through staff trainings and relationship building.
• Develop relationships with management and owners.
• Key Account Management.
• Attend/store events for accounts and distributor trade shows.
• Plan and execute an effective call cycle.
• Secure key prospects within the territory.
• Coordinate with distributor sales representatives to optimize coverage.
• Formulate a growth plan for the territory.
