Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive Gardner Denver branded air compression sales through distributors in the U.S. This remote-based role requires travel up to 50% and a strong background in mechanical sales with service-contract experience.

You will build distributor relationships, provide technical support, coordinate pricing strategies, and track performance to grow revenue and aftermarket offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical sales, with increasing responsibility within the sales hierarchy.

Responsibilities

• Manage Gardner Denver branded air compression sales and growth through the distribution channel, developing penetration plans to increase market share.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen distributor relationships at all levels, resolving channel conflicts and ensuring high distributor capability.
• Provide technical expertise and customer support by leveraging Gardner Denver resources to ensure consistent service quality and product knowledge.
• Collaborate with other business units on pricing, service contract growth, strategy, and warranty concerns.
• Measure distributor performance, implement improvement programs, and drive revenue growth across aftermarket parts, service offerings, and support new product sales.
• Maintain data in CRM systems (CC360 – Salesforce).
• Gather, analyze, and report monthly on regional activities, competitive strategies, and market trends.
