Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth for Gardner Denver branded air compression equipment through authorized distributors across the United States. You will develop strategic plans, expand distributor relationships, and grow service programs with a focus on end-user value.

The role requires traveling up to 50% to distributor and customer sites, a bachelor’s degree, and 3+ years in mechanical sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required or international equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical sales with increasing responsibility.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Manage Gardner Denver branded air compression sales and growth through the distribution channel.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen distributor relationships at all levels.
• Provide technical expertise and customer support leveraging Gardner Denver resources.
• Collaborate with pricing, service contracts, strategy, and warranty concerns.
• Measure distributor performance and drive revenue growth across aftermarket services.
• Gather, analyze, and report monthly on regional activities and market trends.
• Maintain CRM data (CC360 - Salesforce).
• Coach distributor personnel to enhance technical and commercial competencies.
