Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a professional sales expert to drive revenue for railing materials in the Raleigh/Charlotte markets. This remote role requires strong consultative selling and knowledge of railing projects.

You will manage existing accounts and attract new dealers, travel up to 50% within NC, and collaborate with inside sales and product teams to price, quote, and promote solutions. Competitive base pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years B2B sales in railing or building-materials industry
• Knowledge or ability to help customers design, quote and price custom railing projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales revenue and profitability targets within assigned territory
• Consultatively develop business with prospects and customers as product/industry/brand expert
• Grow marketplace by managing existing accounts and adding new dealers/contractors
• Travel within territory to target new customers and acquire new markets
• Attend customer events and tradeshows to increase brand and product awareness
• Create market demand through presentations to contractors in the marketplace
• Maintain a sales pipeline for opportunities to sell more or new products
• Collaborate with inside sales on order fulfillment and satisfaction
• Work with product teams on rollout of new products and pricing strategies
