Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Territory Manager for the MitraClip division to drive sales in the assigned US territory. You will coordinate with clinical consultants, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with hospital staff and physicians to achieve annual sales objectives.

The role requires extensive cardiovascular sales experience, strategic planning, and the ability to navigate complex hospital settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cardiovascular work experience with 3+ years in Structural Heart or Heart Failure implantable device sales.
• Vendor credentialing requirements may include vaccination for COVID-19; accommodations may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Sell products by scheduling calls with current and potential customers to meet revenue goals.
• Develop and implement sales strategies addressing product, competition and pricing needs for hospital personnel and physicians.
• Create action plans by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales data with regional managers to hit sales targets.
• Identify key accounts and decision makers to address clinical needs and constraints.
• Observe procedures in labs and ORs to understand physician and lab staff needs.
• Establish pricing packages with Abbott Vascular to meet customer needs while following company policies.
