Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Territory Manager for the MitraClip division to drive sales in the assigned region. The role is field-based, focusing on meeting and exceeding sales objectives by coordinating with clinicians and hospital staff.

You will develop sales strategies, identify key accounts, and build relationships to facilitate purchasing decisions. Requires extensive cardiovascular experience and vendor credentialing readiness.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 5+ years’ of which include Structural Heart or Heart Failure implantable device sales experience.
• Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19; accommodations available if needed.

Responsibilities

• Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet revenue and unit growth objectives.
• Develops and implements sales strategies for hospital personnel and physicians.
• Coordinates with regional manager to analyze sales figures and identify account needs.
• Identifies key accounts and purchasing decision makers in hospitals.
• Observes procedures in labs and ORs to understand customer needs.
• Establishes pricing packages with Abbott Vascular personnel.
• Builds relationships with hospital staff and clinicians to promote products.
• Supports customers with training, launches, and product updates.
