Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Territory Manager, Specialty Care Business Development to market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies or brokers across the New England region. The role is remote/WFH, with travel to agency partners and territory visits in the Eastern Time Zone.

Ideal candidates have multi-line commercial underwriting experience, knowledge of Human Services/Nonprofit accounts, and strong business development skills to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Multi-line commercial insurance underwriting experience, including underwriting authority
• Human Services and Nonprofit industry-specific experience
• Strong business development skills, with a production & agency management orientation

Responsibilities

• Markets Nationwide products and services to help drive agency and company results.
• Assists agency with strategies for pipeline management and producer development.
• Develops and manages business plans with select agencies or brokers.
• Quotes, prices and underwrites policies for complex accounts and renewals.
• Leads delivery of appropriate customer service levels and drives profitability and growth.
