Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking an Account Development Manager to drive growth in the US Commercial stores within the Florence, KY market, operating remote/field-based. You will expand existing accounts, cultivate new relationships, and boost product adoption through strategic territory management.

Ideal candidates bring proven sales experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to travel daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Sales experience required; outside sales experience preferred.
• Strong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality and passion for winning new business.
• Experience with CRM systems preferred.
• Coatings or related industry experience a plus.
• Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by expanding existing accounts and increasing product adoption.
• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting and outreach.
• Build and maintain customer partnerships to increase retention.
• Create and execute territory sales plans to maximize market coverage.
• Use consultative selling to understand customer needs and offer solutions.
• Manage pricing opportunities, discounts, margins and territory profitability.
• Track activity, forecasts and performance metrics using CRM tools.
• Educate customers on products, promotions, and solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing and Customer Service to support success.
• Represent the brand professionally through field activities.
