Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking an Account Development Manager for the Modesto, CA market. This remote/field-based role focuses on expanding existing Pittsburgh Paints store accounts, developing new customer relationships, and increasing product adoption across the territory.

You will drive sales growth, build strategic plans, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success while representing the brand in the field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Sales experience required; outside sales preferred.
• Strong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality.
• Experience with CRM systems preferred.
• Coatings or related industry experience a plus.
• Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by expanding existing accounts and increasing product adoption.
• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting and outreach.
• Build and maintain strong customer partnerships to improve retention.
• Create territory sales plans to maximize market coverage.
• Use consultative selling to identify customer needs and propose solutions.
• Manage pricing, discounts, margins, and territory profitability.
• Track activity, forecasts, and performance using CRM tools.
• Educate customers on products, promotions, and solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service to support success.
• Represent the Pittsburgh Paints Company brand professionally in the field.
