Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Construction Services Territory Manager to market, manage and underwrite commercial lines through select agencies. This remote role travels to key agency relationships within the territory and aims to drive profit, production and strong partnerships.

The ideal candidate has commercial underwriting experience with underwriting authority and a profitability-focused lens. Strong agency relationships and knowledge of middle market segments are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Seven years of progressively responsible underwriting and sales experience in commercial line business preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and sales skills with ability to build internal and external partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Markets Nationwide products to drive agency and company results.
• Develops business plans with agencies and brokers to win new business and renewals.
• Underwrites and quotes complex commercial line accounts, ensuring profitability and service levels.
• Manages agency visits and performance reviews to strengthen relationships.
• Drives production, profitability and service objectives across the territory.
