Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated Packaging division is seeking a driven Account Manager to grow our custom corrugated packaging business throughout Georgia. This home-based role travels 50% to 75% within the territory, primarily day travel, with occasional overnight trips.

The successful candidate must reside in or near Georgia and be able to travel regularly to support customers and business needs. We value entrepreneurs who build relationships, create value, and own their territory.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in packaging, industrial, manufacturing, or related B2B sales.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% with a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, and network leverage.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, pursue, and close opportunities within the territory.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers by understanding their objectives and delivering value solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and project execution.
• Develop understanding of customer buying processes and decision dynamics.
• Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Demonstrate ownership and follow-through, delivering on commitments and expectations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and share insights to drive customer and business success.
