Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Account Manager to grow our custom corrugated packaging business across North Carolina and Virginia. You will own your territory, hunting for new opportunities and closing deals while leveraging GP's products and support.

The role is home-based with 50%–75% travel; ideal for sales professionals who understand buying decisions, build relationships, and create value for customers. Travel and territory management are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience preferably in packaging, industrial, manufacturing, or related B2B sales
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the territory (up to 75%) and possess a valid U.S. driver's license

Responsabilités

• Build a robust pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, and leveraging your network.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives and delivering value-creating solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful project execution.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer buying processes and decision-making dynamics.
• Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
• Demonstrate strong follow-through and ownership, consistently delivering on commitments and customer expectations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and share insights that help drive customer and business success.
