Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated Packaging division seeks a driven Account Manager to grow our custom corrugated packaging business across North Carolina and Virginia. This is a home-based remote role with 50% to 75% travel; regular travel and occasional overnight trips are expected to cover the territory.

You will hunt for new business, build relationships, and deliver value by understanding customers' objectives while coordinating with internal teams for project execution.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in packaging or related B2B field.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within NC and VA territory and hold a valid U.S. driver7s license.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust pipeline through cold calls, prospecting, and leveraging your network.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to pursue and close new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives and delivering value.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful project execution.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer buying processes and decision-making dynamics.
• Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
• Demonstrate strong follow-through and ownership, consistently delivering on commitments and customer expectations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and share insights that help drive customer and business success.
