Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated Packaging division seeks an Account Manager to grow our custom corrugated packaging business across Dallas/Fort Worth. You will identify opportunities, build relationships, and own your territory with support from GP's products and resources.

In this remote-friendly, travel-heavy role, you will travel 50–75% within the DFW area, hunting new business and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales, packaging, manufacturing, or related industry experience.
• Proven ability to create value through business development, account management, or related roles.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a track record of trust and long-term partnerships.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, and leveraging your network.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives and delivering value-creating solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful project execution.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer buying processes and decision-making dynamics.
• Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
• Demonstrate strong follow-through and ownership, consistently delivering on commitments and customer expectations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and share insights that help drive customer and business success.
