Job summary

nVent is seeking a Territory Account Sales Representative to drive sales in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This role is remote from a home office, with occasional field visits to customers and limited overnight travel.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in outside industrial sales, experience with Salesforce, and a proven ability to manage distributor relationships and deliver compelling presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or outside sales experience.
• 7+ years in an outside sales role in the industrial market selling electrical/electronic products.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
• Knowledge of selling through a distributor channel model.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations and proposals.
• Strong negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the sales quota in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
• Maintain relationships with customers and distributors and develop solutions.
• Lead complex accounts across multiple locations when needed.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy focusing on channel, end-users, and installers.
• Update CRM with account status and pipeline, provide training to customers and distributors.
• Monitor market relationships and competitors to maintain opportunities.
