Job summary

Equip Health is a fully remote, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program. A Licensed Therapist will deliver telehealth therapy (FBT, CBT-E) within a multidisciplinary team across all ages, maintaining a 30-40 caseload and 20–26 hours of direct care weekly.

The role requires licensure in the home state with potential cross-state licensure; Equip covers licensure costs. Compensation ranges from $71,000 to $92,000 plus a 15% bonus, plus generous PTO and home-office perks.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Texas.
• Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds and cultures, and with varying degrees of acuity.
• Passion for evidence-based care and treatment.
• Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week (meaning being available until 8pm in your patient caseloads primary time zone).
• Enthusiastic, strong team player.
• Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting.
• Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting.
• Implement family-based treatment, CBT-E, CBT for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments for patients across the lifespan.
• Maintain a caseload of 30-40; 20-26 hours direct care with remaining time for administrative tasks.
• Participate in initial and ongoing trainings.
• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and outside providers.
• Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team via Equip’s EMR.
• Engage in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
• Maintain licensure in home state and obtain licensure in other states as requested; licensure costs covered by Equip.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
