Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner to provide remote primary care from a structured telehealth platform. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage health problems for patients aged 18 months and older, delivering holistic care in collaboration with a dedicated team.

This 6-month PRN position requires an active, unrestricted NP license, a Master's in Family Nurse Practitioner, and NB Nursing board certification.

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted nursing license in any US state/district.
Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
Proficiency with information management and technology.
Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues to provide quality care.
In some markets, proficiency in Spanish may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide holistic, evidenced based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and older.
Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients, with heath education and counseling.
Provide patient counseling including contraception and safer sex practices.
Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
Document all patient care within an EHR per policy.
Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
Work within a patient care team and collaborate with Providers, physicians, paraprofessionals and pharmacists.
Work independently, prioritize, and advocate for patients.
