CVS Health's Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner role delivers patient care remotely via a telehealth platform, collaborating with a dedicated team to provide holistic, evidence-based care for patients 18 months and older.

This 6-month PRN contract requires 20+ hours/week (including some weekends) and an active, unrestricted US NP license with national certification; incumbents must obtain additional licensure if needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with National Board Certification.
• Active, unrestricted licensure in any US state.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
• Proficiency with information management and technology.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality care.
• Spanish language skills may be required in some markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and older.
• Evaluate primary care, acute and chronically ill patients and provide education and counseling.
• Counsel on contraception, STI prevention and safer sex practices and manage medications.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all patient care within an EHR per MinuteClinic policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
• Work independently within a patient care team, prioritizing problems and advocating for patients.
