Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver remote, evidence-based care via a virtual platform. You will assess, diagnose, treat, counsel, and disposition patients aged 18 months and older, collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.

Ideal candidates hold an active US licensure, a Master's in Family Nurse Practitioner, and National Board Certification, with the ability to obtain additional licensure as needed.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted licensure in any US state/district.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience.
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
• Proficient with information management and technology.
• Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care.
• Depending on the market, Spanish may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and up.
• Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients and provide health education.
• Counsel on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention and safer sex practices; manage medications.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all patient care in an EHR per policy.
• Coordinate with internal and external colleagues to ensure high quality care.
