Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Telecom Support Engineer to provide expert technical assistance for telecommunications services. This fully remote role supports customers and internal teams, with focus on diagnosing issues in voice, data, and internet services while working from home.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in telecom technical support, strong IP networking and VoIP knowledge, and excels at clear remote communication.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a technical support role within the telecom industry
Strong understanding of IP networking, VoIP, and common telecom protocols
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for telecom services, diagnosing and resolving complex customer issues
Analyze network performance data to identify and address underlying problems proactively
Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate engineering teams with detailed documentation
Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides for common issues
Assist in monitoring network health and responding to alerts and system events
Collaborate with customer service representatives to ensure a seamless support experience
