Placements24 seeks a dedicated Telecommunications Technician to join our remote team, responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of telecom equipment for customers nationwide. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Telecommunications Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of voice, data, and video transmission.
- Familiarity with fiber optic splicing and testing procedures.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues reported by customers.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and upgrades on infrastructure.
- Conduct site surveys for optimal equipment placement.
- Document all service calls and repairs in the ticketing system.
- Adhere to safety regulations during field operations.
