Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a ClaimsXM Technical Writer for a remote, nationwide role. You will gather technical information from subject-matter experts and translate it into clear documentation for front-end users.

You will collaborate with operations, developers, and data engineers, design materials with diagrams, and maintain IT governance documents, ensuring accuracy and readability for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years technical writing and training experience in a fast-paced IT organization.
• Experience collaborating with technical and operational team members.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
• Able to learn new processes, software, hardware and concepts quickly.
• Analytical mindset with ability to digest large data and extract relevant information.
• Time management to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt tone, vocabulary, and structure to readers.
• Knowledge of the 7 C's of Technical Writing.
• Proficient with documentation software.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze with operational users, technical staff, and clients to gather accurate technical information for documentation.
• Review sources to determine what needs to be included in the materials.
• Design and format information in a logical manner using diagrams and charts for various audiences.
• Create, write, format, and maintain IT governance documentation (policies, procedures, SOPs).
• Test and redesign content for consistency, accuracy, and grammar; conduct user testing.
• Maintain yearly review and updates of IT governance documentation.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly; strong verbal and written communication; public speaking and training skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
