Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues across Medstation systems and ES 1.1x upgrades. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide CSC support to internal peers, ensuring high-quality case management and clear customer communication.

The role requires server-to-station system knowledge, strong SQL/DB skills, Windows administration, and remote work capability from a home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years Microsoft SQL experience.
• Ability to write queries and analyze SQL data (SELECT and JOIN) within complex databases.
• SSIS exposure/experience.
• SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration.
• Networking topology, terminology, commands.
• IIS and Web Application Administration.
• Group Policies Terminology and Administration.
• VMware Terminology and Administration.
• Application installation and troubleshooting.
• XML language knowledge (1+ year).
• Review application and OS logs (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to coordinate support.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements for ES 1.1x remediation.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x for troubleshooting and support.
• Provide CSC support to internal peers for ES 1.1x upgrade.
• Manage cases with timely updates and high data quality.
• Communicate effectively via phone/email; document notes in Salesforce.
• Demonstrate understanding of customer education and BD products in healthcare environments.
• Work flexible hours; remote position from home office.
